Provide essential administrative, coordination, and support functions to assist the Project Team in the successful delivery of projects. This role will ensure that project activities are well-organised, deadlines are met, and documentation is accurate and up to date.

Working as part of the Transformation and Change Team (Bank Role) within the Strategy and Partnerships Directorate.   Supporting the successful delivery of major change programmes.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C GCSE LEVEL 9-4
  • Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an Administrative environment
Desirable criteria
  • Project or programme management training or qualification (Prince2, MSP, APM)

Knowledge/Experience

Essential criteria
  • Range of work procedures and practices, majority nonroutine; intermediate level theoretical knowledge Knowledge of administrative procedures, including specialised IT systems and project management, training knowledge, acquired through formal training or experience to diploma level equivalent.
  • Experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a project or programme environment.
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and tools such as PRINCE2, Agile, or similar.
  • Understanding of project management principles and the ability to support the delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • Experience in using software and tools for project tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
