The successful candidate will be based at Banstead Make Ready There may will be a requirement for travel across other sites. Banstead Make Ready Centre is located within the London fringe and will attract a High Cost Area Supplement (HCAS) of 5%.
The post holder will be required to work some weekends duties which will attract unsocial hours payments. There is also a requirement to be on call for approximately 1 week in 5 for which an on call premia of 4.5% is provided.
Main duties of the job
The Make Ready Centre Manager is responsible for all aspects of resource provision within the Operating Unit. This includes:
- Day to day management of our Make Ready Centre at Banstead and the wider Trust estate within the OU footprint, ensuring all Trust facilities are safe, secure and complaint with legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensuring operational staff and resources are planned in accordance with projected demand
- Contributing towards a high performance/high efficiency culture, minimising avoidable resource downtime
- Leadership of staff working within the Make Ready and Scheduling teams
