Band 4 Medical Secretary at Hunter House, The Railings, Rugby - 37.5 hours per week 

The Coventry and Warwickshire Trust have an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organisation skills to apply for the role Medical Secretary based at The Railings, Rugby. 

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

You will work within an integrated and skill mixed admin team based in Rugby, providing complex secretarial and admin support with responsibility for coordinating and managing the work required by the clinical services.  You will be expected to show initiative and have the ability to delegate tasks appropriately and supervise staff in order to effectively and efficiently support clinical service delivery.

  • QCF Business Administration Level 3
  • QCF Customer Service Level 3

Knowledge and Skills

  • Articulate with excellent communication / customer care skills both written and verbal demonstrating sympathy and compassion
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own and other’s workload and use own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills ability to prioritise conflicting demands in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and deal professionally with complaints
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to take and transcribe notes of meetings in a timely manner
  • Advanced keyboard / IT skills

Experience

  • Competent working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Experience of working in a busy office / customer care environment
  • Experience of working in Healthcare
  • Audio & Copy typing experience

  • Medical secretarial experience
