RISE, the mental health and wellbeing service for children and young people across Coventry and Warwickshire are looking for Nurses to join the eating disorder and Home Intervention Service. The Eating Disorder Team has seen significant growth and now have a Home Treatment offer. Care will be delivered in our clinics and young people’s homes. We are seeking applicants to Nurse posts to support with the delivery of this service.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The Eating Disorder Team offer specialised Eating Disorder Intervention and care to Children and Young People across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The Home Treatment offer will primarily support young people around mealtimes and will be guided by their family, tailoring help to fit around their life and needs. Supporting loved ones to understand the eating disorder and techniques they can use to manage difficulties around meals will be central to the team’s work. Building trust and relationships with young people and their families will therefore be critical for the staff involved.
There has been a major growth and investment in RISE’s eating disorder service and due to this we need passionate, dedicated people to join us!
The team will be based in Coventry and travel expenses will be covered. Given the flexible nature of the new service, the opportunity of flexibility for team members will be embedded in the roles

- Current unrestricted registration with HCPC/NMC
- Specialist knowledge across a range of procedures and theory
- Professional knowledge acquired through degree/ diploma

Experience

- Substantial experience in an inpatient or community mental health setting
- Developed specialist mental health knowledge gained within a similar environment over a considerable period of time
- Significant experience of working with people with eating disorders
