Assistant Psychologist (AP) - Neuro Liaison Project

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join the Neurodevelopmental Liaison project that provides diagnostic assessments for patients open to mental health services. This AP post will support Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist and Expert Live experience.

Carry out clinically related administration, conduct service audits, collect various statistics, complex statistical analysis to determine possible improvements and areas for the Service leads to address.

As this role involves travel to training venues and meetings at other service bases, it is essential that you have access to a car and can travel around the county as required (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
You are required to hold a Psychology Degree giving GBR status with the British Psychological Society, Grade 2:1 or above.
Please note: It is mandatory requirement for all newly appointed staff to be registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service.

- Evidence of working with people who have experience mental health problems
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Demonstrates a knowledge of the issues surrounding work and the impact it can have on mental health / benefits & employment systems
- Excellent written communication skills
- Able to write clear reports and letters
- Ability to learn to offer psychological therapy / psycho-education to suitable clients in a manner consistent with the service
