The post holder will:
- Have responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the identified team, including patient, team activity, performance, quality and staffing matters.
- Support the delivery of child & family focused services, against agreed performance and quality targets and within budget, whilst delivering agreed cost improvements.

JOB SUMMARY

· The post holder will be an expert practitioner and will assess children referred to the service and plan, implement and evaluate treatment plans whilst referring to other professionals both internally and externally as appropriate
· As a member of the Neurodevelopmental team the post holder will provide clinical advice and support to other professionals both within the service and other agencies.

The Neurodevelopmental Pre-School Autism Service within CWPT works with pre-school children with neurodiversity. We are a Multi Disciplinary Team consisting of Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, Paediatricians, Specialist Neurodevelopmental Clinicians and Neurodevelopmental Practitioners. There is a shared vision in the team for achieving the best possible outcomes for children with a neurodevelopmental condition.
Applicants must have substantial post qualification experience and/or training in Autism assessment tools and experience of working with this population.
As travel is an integral part of this post, car owner/driver, or suitable alternative transport to enable you to undertake the job is essential (It is unlikely that public transport will meet this requirement). This post is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure at ‘Enhanced’ level.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior supervisory level
- Relevant qualification or significant experience in clinical children’s field

- Demonstrable experience of driving service improvements
- Experience and understanding of safeguarding
- Experience of managing budgets, involvement in budget setting and working knowledge of financial processes
