Job overview

To ensure the efficient running of the Production /Warehouse Office, managing a team of staff to improve the department’s performance in areas such as order processing for both internal and external customers. Managing of business specific accreditations ( ISO/CE) .

 

 

Main duties of the job

Manage the General Office for both production and Warehouse ensuring that an effective secretarial and clerical support service is provided to Northumbria Manufacturing Hub.

Co-ordinate the processing of orders and invoices and the updating it on Sage Systems.

Assist in the development and updating of the Department’s policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with good practice standards.

Implement procedures to ensure compliance with the Trust's policies, procedures and Standing Financial Instructions.

To inspire the team to provide high level of customer services to both internal and external customers.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To ensure the efficient running of the Production/Warehouse Office, managing a team of staff to improve the department’s performance in areas such as order processing for both internal and external customers. Managing of business specific accreditations ( ISO/CE).

To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries (d) 

The role holder will also oversee all aspects of the customer service experience to troubleshoot processes and procedures and make improvements of customer service quality.

Essential criteria
  • Educated to GCSE, or level 2 qualification or equivalent knowledge of a range of trust policies and management procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
