Trosolwg o'r swydd

Due to staffing changes, a full-time (37.5hrs over 5 days) Band 2 Administration Assistant post has arisen within the Northumberland Recovery Partnership (NRP) admin team based at Sextant House in Blyth.

To also provide reception/meet & greet ,  call handling, patient travel reimbursement, process clinic update letters/emails,  deal with day to day queries and update patient information systems as well as tasks such as filing/scanning/uploading, note taking, handling incoming/outgoing post and other work as directed.

There will be a requirement to provide cover at other team bases so own transport would be an advantage.

There may be opportunity to work remotely on occasion, depending on staffing levels and service demands.

This post is partly funded by Commissioners so has specific duties relating to issuing regular update letters to GP's from clinical caseloads.

 Key skills:

  • Experience in a customer/patient and service user focused environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word/Office packages
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be self-directed, motivated and be able to contribute positively within a team
  • Resilient and calm in difficult situations
  • Well organised and structured
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility in the role

The post holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to deal with possible exposure to highly distressing or highly emotional circumstances and will be expected to ensure they participate on all relevant training courses appropriate to the role.

Education and Qualification

  • Intermediate (Level 2) Typing/Word processing qualification and/or relevant demonstrable experience e.g. 12 months experience.
  • Good general level of education up to Level 1 standard in English Language and Maths.
