Job overview

An opportunity has arisen to work as a Personal Assistant in Morriston Hospital. You will be part of a small administration team who support the senior management team, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on working independently with a flexible approach to work in a busy environment. 

This role requires a confident individual, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will need to be both friendly and helpful whilst understanding the perspectives of others. With the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without supervision.

Experience of working within a similar role is desirable, but having transferable skills, a positive attitude to work with a desire to learn is equally important.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide secretarial support and formal minute taking of meetings e.g. Serious Incidents/Hearings/External Stakeholder Meetings etc.

Collate data from various sources and analyse as required, producing analytical documents to display results.

Be the first point of contact for the Service, ensuring a professional and positive attitude at all times.

Organise and plan the daily schedules, dealing with sensitive and confidential information appropriately, and utilising diplomacy at all times.

Receive and record incoming mail, dealing with as appropriate and prioritise accordingly.

Attend meetings and prepare documentation and slides , e.g. statistics in preparation of meeting and distribute minutes within given deadline to the attendees

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
