Swansea University Health Board is offering an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individual to develop skills to become Finance apprentices within a busy Finance operations team. This is a 24 month fixed term developmental post which is supported with qualification in NVQ level 3 AAT qualification, offered through a local college provider.

Main duties of the job
This is a full time post however there is protected study leave once the course begins. The academic work will be supported by skills being developed within the Finance team supported by a mentor and line manager. The qualification will be supported by a combination of external training courses, shadowing senior staff and internal training courses. This will develop the successful candidate to be able to undertake the role effectively.
The individual should also have the enthusiasm and drive to complete the qualification whilst working full time within the department.
All applicants must:
be aged 16+
be resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years
not be in any form of formal government-funded education qualifications
have a good general standard of GCSE education or equivalent
not have a Degree
flexible approach to work within normal working hours (37.5 hours per week).
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
