Morriston Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic pharmacist to advance their clinical experience and training by joining our team at Morriston.

This role offers the chance to care for a diverse array of patients, including those in medical, surgical, burns, plastics, critical care, and cardiac units. As a member of our rotational pharmacists and medicines management technicians team, you'll gain extensive experience by providing clinical pharmacy services across various wards and supporting our dispensary.

We welcome applications from foundation trainee pharmacists registering with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) in August 2024 and from pharmacists who have already gained registration, in any sector of practice.

Main duties of the job

As a post-registration pharmacist, you will provide clinical pharmacy services across various specialties on a rotational basis, participating in both ward and dispensary services.

This position will help you develop deeper knowledge, expertise, and both clinical and non-clinical skills under the guidance of our experienced pharmacists. 

You will receive support and mentoring from team members to ensure you achieve your full potential.

The role involves collaborating with our extended pharmacy and multi-disciplinary teams, allowing you to further enhance your autonomous practice and confidence as a post-registration pharmacist.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
