This role would be suitable for someone who has a very high level of clinical skills and experience, as well as the ability to lead and motivate a staff team in the pursuit of the provision of excellent quality care for people using our services.
You will be part of a multi- disciplinary team based providing the clinical leadership and line management to staff at the Single Point of Access in Gatton Place. This is an integrated role in order to support the triage of all referrals coming into SABP Trust as well as supporting our fantastic call handlers on the SABP Crisis Line. The role is central to ensuring the multi-disciplinary team provides the right service, at the right time with the best outcome for people accessing our service.
This is an integrated role in order to support the triage of all referrals coming into SABP Trust and/or rapid response for emergency assessments as well as the Home Treatment and/or Safe Haven elements of the service (dependent on specific role remit) and you will be responsible for creating an environment which is safe, supportive and easily accessible with a no wrong door approach for these services.
Main duties of the job
To provide guidance regarding the management of referrals through the Single Point of Access for Working Age Adults and for the Single Point of Access Crisis Line.
- To support those in mental health need or crisis who have been referred by an external agency or who have contacted the crisis line to ensure that they receive the most appropriate treatment, by the most appropriate service in a timely manner.
- Supporting a “no wrong door approach” to referrals and calls made to Single Point of Access.
- A professionals’ line is available for external agencies and emergency services for advice and guidance and a referral process for NHS111
