Job overview

If you are a clear communicator, a great leader, and a smart negotiator, you could make a difference.

We have a role within our busy Contracts team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as a Contract Manager. Our Trust cares for people with mental health and emotional well-being needs every day. And we need your expertise.

This is a full-time post (37.5 hours per week). The role will be based in Leatherhead in our newly refurbished Headquarters at the Mole Valley Business Park, however home working will be considered for the right applicant. Travelling across our locations in Surrey on occasion is something that may be required going forward however this can be discussed with a great degree of flexibility.

We aim to interview Mid August.

Main duties of the job

Ideally you will have prior NHS experience of working in contracting and be familiar with NHS standard contract. We are seeking someone with knowledge of buying healthcare services and/or arranging clinical contracts. You will know how to ensure the correct contracting processes are followed and provide an insight on how to make improvements in this area.

The successful applicant will play an active part in deciding how our department is improving the method in which we collect, analyse, and share our information.

Working for our organisation

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the leading provider of health and social care services for people of all ages with mental ill-health and learning disabilities in Surrey and North East Hampshire. We also provide social care services for people with a learning disability in Croydon and ASD and ADHD assessment services in Hampshire.

We actively seek to engage people who use our services and our communities in improving the mental wellbeing of the local population. We work closely with other NHS and voluntary sector organisations who provide services and support people who use services and carers.

Surrey is a beautiful county lying just 30 minutes away from Central London and from the South Coast.

Our historic market towns and bustling districts are enveloped in wonderful countryside, and our excellent road and rail networks bring the rest of the country within easy reach.

For international travel, both Gatwick and Heathrow airports are nearby.

Please note that we reserve the right to close posts as soon as sufficient applications are received.

Working from home contracts do not attract high cost area payments.

We look forward to receiving your application!
