Job overview
Applications are invited for the above post commencing July 2025 for 12 months. Proleptic appointments may be considered for up to two years from date of interview. The successful applicant will gain closely supervised exposure to all aspects of Adult Foot and Ankle Elective and Trauma Surgery at two highly regarded Trusts under the supervision of 4 Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
The post is suited to Specialist Registrars/Residents who are nearing completion of their training and wish Fellowship experience in Adult (and adolescent) Foot and Ankle Surgery. FRCS (Tr&Orth) or equivalent is essential. The successful Fellow will be given active support with Clinical Research and will be expected to present and publish the work, as appropriate.

- Work to the suggested time table as per the JD

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Full GMC registration with a Licence to Practice
- MB BS (or equivalent)
- Evidence of training progression
- FRCS orth, FRCSC, FRACS
Experience
Essential criteria
- Completed pre-registration year (or equivalent outside of UK)
- Recent experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems & practices (or equivalent)
- SPR level experience in Orthopaedics
- Management of elective patients.
- Evidence of understanding and application of knowledge of specialty
Desirable criteria
- Complete or approaching completion of SpR Training

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
