Band 3 Reception Team Leader - Emergency Floor
We are looking for 4 Reception Team Leaders (21 hrs per week) to work within our friendly reception desks across the Emergency Floor (A&E, EAU, AEC & Guildford Ward). You will work as part of the Emergency Floor’s multi-disciplinary team, providing a 24 hour Reception service
The successful candidates will support and deputise for the Reception Manager and duties will be of a varied nature in accordance to the needs of the Emergency Department.

The role is diverse, with each day bringing new challenges. You will have proven ability in using your own initiative and working with confidential information, showing attention to detail and the ability to work accurately. A confident and assertive personality will be an asset.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To support the Reception Manager in providing and co-ordinating an efficient and comprehensive reception, administrative and information collection service for the Emergency Department.
To ensure that all departmental and Trust processes are adhered to and followed. The post holder will be responsible for the training and development of their team to maintain a high level of customer support at all times.

Essential criteria
- General education to GCSE level.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience in patient contact position.
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS experience in an admin role
