Job overview
After an extensive re-build including the installation of two state of the art MRI scanners double our service we are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated administrative assistant to join our friendly MRI administrative team.
To be considered for this role previous experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
This position will require excellent communication skills to greet direct and assist customers in the department. You will require sufficient IT skills to access and enter data onto the Radiology information system and to book appointments, training will be provided.
Experience in administrative procedures would be advantageous.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve a variety of administrative and receptionist duties which support the daily patient flow and operations of this busy department.
Permanent - Salary: Band 3.
Hours per week: 37.5 (Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 18.00)

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent in Maths and English
- NVQ Level 3 in business administration or equivalent.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Previous experience within an administration environment
- Previous experience of dealing with the general public.
Desirable criteria
- In depth knowledge of CERNER, CRIS and Ordercomms systems.
- Experience of working in a busy office environment.
- Knowledge of hospital clinic procedures.
