Join our Clinical Education team at Frimley Park Hospital as a Medical Education Manager. This crucial role involves supporting the Strategic Lead for Medical Education and the senior management team to deliver high-quality medical education programs. You will manage educational facilities, oversee various training programs, and ensure compliance with national policies and legislation. Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Strategic Lead for Medical Education to implement directives from Health Education Kent, Surrey, Sussex (HEKSS) and Trust policies.
- Manage the Postgraduate Education Centre (PGEC) facilities, including education rooms and catering services.
- Oversee health and safety, risk management, and adherence to Food Standards Agency legislation within the PGEC.
- Administer and manage various educational programs including the induction for training grade doctors and the Physician Associate student program.
- Maintain medical education content on the Trust's intranet and website.
- Provide project management for initiatives such as the Royal College of Physicians PACES examination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure financial accountability for various educational programs and facilities.
- Line manage the medical education and catering teams, ensuring their development and adherence to mandatory training.
