Join our Clinical Education team at Frimley Park Hospital as a Medical Education Manager. This crucial role involves supporting the Strategic Lead for Medical Education and the senior management team to deliver high-quality medical education programs. You will manage educational facilities, oversee various training programs, and ensure compliance with national policies and legislation. Your responsibilities will include administrative support, financial management, and project leadership, making this a diverse and impactful position within the medical education landscape.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Strategic Lead for Medical Education to implement directives from Health Education Kent, Surrey, Sussex (HEKSS) and Trust policies.
  • Manage the Postgraduate Education Centre (PGEC) facilities, including education rooms and catering services.
  • Oversee health and safety, risk management, and adherence to Food Standards Agency legislation within the PGEC.
  • Administer and manage various educational programs including the induction for training grade doctors and the Physician Associate student program.
  • Maintain medical education content on the Trust's intranet and website.
  • Provide project management for initiatives such as the Royal College of Physicians PACES examination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure financial accountability for various educational programs and facilities.
  • Line manage the medical education and catering teams, ensuring their development and adherence to mandatory training.
