Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-motivated Physiotherapist to join our four monthly junior rotational programme which covers both in and out-patient settings. These post are based at Epsom & St Helier Hospital and Surrey Downs Health & Care various sites

The 4 monthly rotations include: Respiratory/ medical, Inpatient neuro, Musculoskeletal outpatients, Orthopaedics, Community hospitals, and Community Neuro 

All post holders will be supported by a band 7 team leader.

Clinical development and supervision will be a priority.

Good communication skills and car owner/driver are essential, with a Full UK Drivers Licence. 

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills and be committed to developing clinical skills.

You will be proactive, use your initiative and have sound organisational abilities to support prioritising and managing your caseload.

You will be part of a weekend and weekday on-call rota. On certain rotations, you are expected to work across a seven-day rota and extended day working.

  • HCPC registered

  • Experience within the NHS
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working

Knowledge/Skills

  • • Demonstrates knowledge and importance of documentation
  • • Demonstrates ability to use clinical reasoning
  • • Competent IT skills
  • • Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety issues
