With 3 rotations through several subspecialties in medicine including Older Peoples Medicine, Respiratory, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Acute medicine and Rheumatology in a year. As an acute hospital community service for a population of 900,000 you can gain a breadth of experience, knowledge, and skill in general medicine.

With passionate and skilled consultants providing teaching board rounds daily in areas across a range of specialities within medicine, you will be well supported. Our dedicated SPR's provide additional support, whilst you rotate through the same posts as FY2s, CMTs and GPST1s.

You would be entitled to study leave budget and study leave and will also be allocated a Clinical and Educational Supervisor.

Frimley Park Hospital offer regular educational meetings including medical unit departmental teaching meetings, a monthly academic half day and weekly grand rounds.

Main duties of the job

Previous post holders have gone on to CMT rotations, specialty trainees rotations and GP training schemes. The rota may include on call cover for nights and weekends and is compliant with the new contract.
