Improvement Practitioner - Frimley Excellence

Job overview
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Improvement Practitioner who is passionate about leading and enabling others to make improvements that benefit our customers.
Main duties of the job
This will include championing our Get It Right First Time (GIRFT) priorities, coaching teams to make improvements using our bespoke Operational Improvement Management System, train staff in Lean methodology and create opportunities for improvers across the Trust to apply the tools and skills they have learnt.
We are a diverse team with members from both NHS and industry and would be keen to hear from candidates who can see how their previous experiences can support our continuous improvement journey.

Essential criteria
- Experience in working and coordinating Operational Excellence Programmes
- Yellow Belt (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Desirable criteria
- Green Belt (Lean/Six Sigma)
- Post graduate Masters
- Prince 2 Project Management Qualification
- Leadership Qualification
- Coaching Qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- Exp of developing and coordinating training in Op ex/Lean
- Exp of leading projects or change management
- Exp of coaching for improvement
- Exp of at least one Lean based methodology
Desirable criteria
- Exp of applying CI in Healthcare
- Exp of coaching or mentoring healthcare professionals
- Track record of delivering training programmes
- Track record of delivering projects on budget
Skills
Essential criteria
- Working knowledge of 5S, RIE, Value Stream Mapping, RCA etc
- Ability to engage stakeholders
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Highly organised, can run large scale complex projects and timetables
- Ability to motivate others
Desirable criteria
- Proven ability to develop strategy
- Translates strategy into actions
