You will be using a wide range of nursing skills and will need to be confident in your assessment skills and in your ability to provide safe, effective treatments whilst working in a community setting. Experience in palliative care, wound management and catheter management will be an advantage. You will have the chance to be fully involved in working with the MDT and integrating with ACS, hospice and hospital staff and will need to be committed to ongoing learning and development in the team. This will be the perfect opportunity if you would like a role where you can use a broad range of nursing skills.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to work in collaboration with colleagues from the wider neighbourhood team to deliver high standards of nursing care. Creating a culture of continuous quality improvement through the critical appraisal of practice and clinical audit.

This is a time of change within West Suffolk, during which we are transforming our services to provide treatment and care for patients outside the acute Trust and closer to where our patients live.

In return you will receive support in your new role and will be encouraged in further development. You will gain experience in directly leading, managing, and developing staff. We offer a supportive and exciting work environment, and we are committed to the training and development of our staff.
