The Cardiology Department provides a comprehensive range of Cardiac investigations and treatments for patients with a wide range of Cardiac disorders. The post holder will assist in the provision of the departments Cardiac Diagnostic Investigations Service. 

1 x 37.5hrs pw (Mon - Fri 8am - 4pm) with  occasional additional weekend work.

Main duties of the job

The duties will include the recording of accurate and high quality electrocardiograms (ECG’s) on patients of all ages, application and removal of arrhythmia monitoring devices, assisting Physiologists in advanced physiologist led clinics, maintenance and calibration of equipment, record keeping and collation of information and general office duties. Training of other colleagues is required. There is an expectation to attain professional nationally recognised  ECG Recording / Interpretation Awards following a period of training.
