Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an 15  hour Outpatients Receptionist for 12 months fixed term contract to be based within the Outpatient Directorate at our County Site .

Main duties of the job

Checking in patients and ensuring demographics are correct 

Directing patient  to the correct area  in order to see the Consultant/ Nurse 

Prepping the paperwork in order for the Consultants to advise on the  best care for the patients 

Completing the outcomes following clinics to ensure the patient is either discharged from clinic or adding to the correct follow waiting list so any further follow ups can be arranged  in time order following Consultants advise

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • 5 GRADE C OR ABOVE in GCSE TO INCLUDE MATHS AND ENGLISH
Desirable criteria
  • Good knowledge of using IT equipment

Experience
