We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Respiratory Physiotherapy Team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is a new vacancy in South Staffordshire with the possibility of being part of a 6 monthly rotational scheme covering a wide range of specialties.  This may include – musculoskeletal & rheumatology OP, neurological rehabilitation – inpatients & community, pulmonary rehabilitation, D2A inpatients and general domiciliary visits.

We are looking for

  • Relevant UK experience/ undergraduate placements
  • Ability to assess and have an awareness of a variety of MSK, neurological and respiratory conditions.
  • Ability to support patients with rehabilitation and self-management/ strategies
  • Ability to manage time and caseload effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

You will provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments and mange their own caseload in a variety of clinical settings. 

You may work in a variety of clinical settings including but not limited to Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Community Hospitals and Community Home Visits. 

This is a dynamic post that requires the post holder to work closely with uni/multi-disciplinary teams/agencies.  You may be involved in addressing a range of care/support issues across the spectrum of conditions, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and improving the health and wellbeing of the population served.

Qualification & Training

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of/willing to undertake post-registration training relevant to the post

Experience

  • Ability to manage time and caseload effectively
  • Supporting service users, families and carers in dealing with the impacts of disability

  • Relevant placements including musculoskeletal/orthopaedics, neurology, respiratory

Skills

  • HCPC CSP standards and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults/Children
