Job overview

Do you want to work in an area of outstanding natural beauty?

Then look no further South Shropshire Mental Health Service is looking to recruit a Full Time Occupational Therapist to enhance holistic patient care. The successful post holder would be mainly based in Ludlow but as the service expands there may be an option for the post holder to move their main base to Bridgnorth. The post offers the ability to work individually with a group of service users as key worker to ensure that pathways of care consider Occupational Therapy models of care.

There is also opportunity to develop group work and to be part of the Duty team offering practical day to day solutions for patients in distress. Support is offered from both within the team and the wider Occupational Therapy Team as well as opportunities for training to enhance skills and Models of Occupational Therapy.

The successful applicant will be able to offer supervision to AHP students and support workers as well as be an active part of both the internal MDT and wider Integrated Mental Health Care Planning Forums at PCN level.
