Looking to broaden your skillset and professional development? Then joining the No Wrong Door, Co-occurring Conditions Team is perfect for you.
We will support you to further develop with the aim to become an experienced Recovery Worker over a 12-18 month period. You will be expected to work with a caseload of substance use clients from the beginning, with the aim to expand this as the role progresses.
The disconnect between services for people with co-occurring conditions of mental ill-health and substance use has long been recognised as a barrier to the effective treatment of patients in the community. Significant funding has now been allocated to make this a thing of the past

Trainee Recovery Worker positions with the development to support you to become Recovery Workers.
Development Recovery Worker role with the resources to support you to become experienced Recovery Workers.
The post will be located in South Hampshire with possible bases of Gosport, Fareham and Havant.
By working with our partners in Community Mental Health services and Primary Care Networks, we aim to deliver truly person-centred care to those experiencing co-occurring conditions

With Inclusion Recovery Hampshire in partnership with Adult Mental Health services and Primary care. You will be working with the service users and multi-agency team members to support the delivery of Recovery focussed outcomes by promoting and creating opportunities in visible recovery, harm reduction and brief interventions.
The training role will lend itself to someone who hasn’t previously worked within this type of setting but has related qualifications and is looking to gain experience working within this field.

Qualifications
Meini prawf hanfodol
- Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent in a related field which may include counselling, social work, nursing, psychology, human resources, social studies Or Equivalent experience

- Relevant training / Qualification in associated field, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Brief solution focussed therapy, Mapping techniques (ITEP/BTEI)
Experience

- A commitment to recovery based interventions and harm reduction approaches for substance misuse and mental health conditions.
