The Wiltshire Talking Therapies Service is looking for enthusiastic, motivated and qualified High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our dynamic and expanding service to help manage the increasing demand for Step 3 CBT in the area.

These posts are on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025 and you will be able to work remotely, carrying out CBT interventions by video call. 

Open to external candidates only

Unfortunately we are unable to support releasing a substantive internal candidate for this fixed term role as a secondment.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

You will provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service for anxiety and depression to clients from the NHS Talking Therapies service. This involves providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy, using the therapy model specified by the NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression Manual.

You will be joining the service at an exciting time with expansion across all areas which will open up excellent development opportunities.

You will receive regular supervision and an extensive programme of CPD opportunities to ensure your continued learning and development.

Main Duties:  

Clinical:  

  • To provide specialist psychological therapy assessments and treatments with clients referred to the NHS Talking Therapies service.

Communications and Relationships:

  • To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of clients under their care.

Teaching, training, and supervision:

  • To receive regular clinical professional supervision from a qualified NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Therapist and other professional colleagues.

Experience

  • Experience of working with a variety of client groups and presenting problems
