The opportunity has arisen to join us in our East and Central Bristol community CAMHS team for a fixed term (12 months) maternity cover.
The East and Central Bristol CAMHS Team is located within a community settlement in a diverse and culturally rich area of Bristol. The post holder should be passionate about working within this community and be keen to develop an awareness of local community organisations and
services that support the wellbeing of all families.
You will be appropriately qualified (Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, High-Intensity CBT etc) and have appropriate professional registration. You will need to demonstrate that you have experience of holding your own caseload including risk assessment and management of complex and enduring mental health needs. Experience of using a family based treatment for eating disorders is desirable, but not essential.

To work within the support of a highly experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment of children and young people with serious and complex mental health difficulties.
To work with and support the system around the child or young person including family and wider professional network.
To contribute to the rota/duty system providing telephone support and advice to young people, carers and professionals who are open to East Central CAMHS
Contribute to the CAMHS Getting Advice team to support in triaging referrals made to the wider CAMHS service.
