Job overview

If you have highly effective admin and organisational skills there is an opportunity to join the Radiology Team as a Secretary supporting the Radiology Consultants, SpRs, Senior Clinical and non-Clinical staff within the Radiology Team. 

We are looking for an individual who has the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and the medical teams as you will also be the central point of communication for other hospital departments, GPs and outside agencies.

Previous admin experience is essential with excellent typing skills and medical terminology.  This is a busy department therefore the ability to "think on your feet" and to remain calm would be an asset.  Our ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and willing to work as part of our busy but supportive team.

Training and support will be given to the successful candidate and the working hours can be flexible but the essential working days will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.
