Health Care Science Support Worker

Band 2

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Principally this role is associated with sample receipt and all pre- and post- analytical preparation. A large proportion of the time will be spent on entering patient details and tests requests into the laboratory computer system. A high degree of concentration is required to prevent errors at this stage, resulting in incorrect results being released to the requesting clinician. As well as the main data entry tasks, you will also be responsible for carrying out basic laboratory support tasks and the organisation of supplies and consumables.
