Rotational Physiotherapist

Band 5

Trosolwg o'r swydd

We currently have vacancies for Band 5 Physiotherapists to join a comprehensive rotation scheme on a permanent basis. Rotations include respiratory care, surgical and ITU, neurology, outpatients and hydrotherapy, orthopaedics, rheumatology, care of the elderly, general medicine and working with our community partners (e.g. in community teams or outpatient services).

Successful candidates will participate in the on-call training programme. This is completed in a supportive environment with simulation training.
In the summer of 2019 we opened the doors to the new Therapies and RNHRD (Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases) department which is home to state of the art equipment, gym and hydrotherapy pool. This will be a very exciting time and aims to improve patient experience and integration of therapies.

The therapies department is forward thinking with new projects and has monthly CPD (continuing professional development) sessions for the whole of therapies. Each rotation has its own in-service training sessions and competencies. We also have a newly developed MDT preceptorship programme to ensure newly registered staff have increased support within their first year of joining.
