It is an exciting time to join the Gastroenterology Department at the RUH, we are currently expanding our clinical teams and are looking for a clinical fellow to start in October.
The RUH FT is looking for a LAS/clinical fellow to join our team. The successful candidate will have a bespoke flexible timetable to meet their training needs and a great opportunity to train in gastroscopy, colonoscopy or ERCP during their one-year appointment.
There is flexibility within the role to provide endoscopy training and clinic that can be tailored to previous experience and subspecialty training needs.
There are a large number of educational opportunities available to the successful candidate including specialist MDTs, hepatology clinics, viral hepatitis clinics, nutrition ward rounds, joint obstetric/IBD clinics, pelvic floor clinics, ERCP lists, large polyp lists and regular endoscopy training courses.

The role will include outpatient clinics, endoscopy, gastroenterology ward cover and a six month 1 in 14 unselected general medical on call.
The clinical fellow will join the team to cover gastroenterology and/or hepatology. As part of the endoscopy unit development programme the successful candidate will be encouraged to carry out endoscopy audit and develop or participate in a research project.
