We have an exciting opportunity for an individual who will join the Senior Finance Team at the RUH as an NHS income and contracting specialist.
The successful applicant will provide strategic finance leadership and provide comprehensive support to decision making across Finance and the wider Trust management in respect to clinical income and related activity.
With the support of a small team they will report on Commissioning Income on a monthly basis, including performance on ERF and information to support productivity analysis. They will also offer expert advice to Trust executives and operational managers in relation to the national payment system and related commissioning contracts.
Main duties of the job
To be an expert on the Trusts income and commissioning contracts
Provide detailed financial support in respect to income to inform the Trusts financial planning processes
To understand the risks in the current performance of clinical services, escalating them the the Head of Income and Contracts with proposed mitigation's where appropriate.
To manage the Income & Contracting Team, with support from the Head of Income and Contracting.
