Main duties of the job

The Cleaning Department is a large team providing cleaning to all areas of the hospital.

Cleaners are generally assigned to a specific location, for example, a ward or department within the hospital. This enables you to get to know other colleagues and build great working relationships in that area, so you feel part of that team as well as being a valued member of the cleaning department.

Cleaning is a vital service within the hospital, helping to control the spread of infection, and providing a welcoming and safe environment for all our patients, staff and visitors.

This role requires you to have a current right to work in the UK, which enables you to undertake the role without need of sponsorship. Under current UK immigration rules this role is not eligible for sponsorship and it is not possible for the Trust to sponsor applicants for a visa for this role. Accordingly, we regret that any application will not be considered if this requirement is not met.
