Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a community therapy team based in Witney?  Would you like to make a positive impact on patient's independence in their own homes? If so, we have an opening for a rehabilitation assistant.

You will join our committed and enthusiastic team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health clinicians and Assistants who are dedicated to providing a responsive service to the needs of our patients, helping them to recover in their own home environment.

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is an accelerator site for the Ageing Well national agenda, as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. This offers you the opportunity to help shape and develop both rapid responsive patient care and our helping patients to rehab in their own homes.  You would be working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of Therapists, District nurses, Community Matrons, social services and voluntary organisations for adults with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.

You would be involved with:

  • Working within a community team to support patients with their rehab programmes to recover after illness or injury
  • Support people to remain in their homes when they are having a health or social care crisis, rather than needing to go into hospital or a care home
  • Help people get home from hospital quickly and provide them with rehabilitation to help restore their health, well-being and independence
  • Deliver high-quality core therapy reablement, rehabilitation and recovery to people within their own homes

Working in the community, it is essential for staff to own a car for travel and be able work across extended hours across seven days in order to meet the needs of our patients.
