This is an opportunity for a hard working and caring individual to join a highly motivated, dedicated team of Porters/Domestic Team at Warneford Hospital

Main duties of the job

Porter / Cleaners are reliable, flexible, and good team players who possess good interpersonal and communication skills with previous experience of moving and handling.  

The successful candidates will be providing a high-quality porter and  cleaning service. The aim of this post is to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The post is full time - 37.5 hours per week working on a monthly rolling rota to include every other weekend. The shift pattern is as follows:

To work as part of the Facilities team to provide a comprehensive porter service to across the Trust. Please see attached JD/PS for full duties.

Essential criteria
  • Good general education.
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of Basic Health & Safety Regulations

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of moving & handling activities
  • Basic Cleaning Skills
  • Some knowledge of cleaning chemical/materials
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience as porter/cleaner
  • Experience in food handling

  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Good Organisational skills

  • Basic Computer skills
