This role carries an incentive premium of £3,500 (pro-rata) which will be paid in instalments over an 18th month period.  Please note that this scheme is not open to existing employees of Oxford Health and is subject to a claw back clause. Further information will be provided.

Are you a qualified mental health nurse who is interested in working in a new and dynamic team where support and training for staff is prioritised?

If you are, an exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Trust at our Meadow Unit - a purpose built 8 bedded psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) for children and adolescents at the Warneford hospital in Oxford.

This Unit will provide short term intensive treatment for acutely unwell adolescents while keeping the young people as close to home as possible.

We provide care for young people with a range of difficulties including eating disorders, anxiety OCD, depression and bipolar mood disorders, unusual experiences and psychosis, trauma, self-harm, and relationship and attachment-based difficulties. Families are often contending with multiple and complex psycho-social difficulties, and we aim to take a holistic approach guided by evidence and best-practice.
