We are looking for an enthusiastic Dietitian to take a specialist role within the Adult Community Eating Disorder (ACED) team in Oxford. We are passionate about embedding dietetic interventions and expertise within the current treatment pathways and keen to continue to review and develop these in line with service transformation. The ACED team values each profession and individual for their unique approach and contribution to service development and patient care. We have established the FREED (First episode Rapid Early intervention for Eating Disorders) model and continue to move towards the development of further pathways including ARFID and for those not ready for recovery (holding hope).

The post holder will be ambitious, have a positive attitude and outstanding clinical skills. Experience of working within the field of eating disorders would be extremely advantageous, however the service will consider applicants with a genuine interest in the client group and a desire to learn.

The post is based at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford. Our service provides assessment and treatment interventions, such as SSCM, MANTRA and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tailored to the needs of adults with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder. These adults can often have co-morbid physical and mental health difficulties which need to be taken into consideration and often require an adapted approach, such as the PEACE  pathway and or joint working with other services.
