We are keen to welcome eager and suitably qualified Clinical Psychologists to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
We comprise a bijou multi-disciplinary team working the iThrive model with young people up to the age of 18 who present with a wide variety of mental health issues ranging in severity and with varying complexity. We host the Eating Disorder service, Learning Disability CAMHS and a Neurodevelopmental clinic.
You would be part of a dedicated team of professionals who are kind and passionate about what they do. Swydd ddisgrifiad a phrif gyfrifoldebau manwl
- Work closely with psychologists, CBT therapist, assistant psychologist and Clinical Associate Psychologist to assess, formulate, plan and deliver evidence based treatment for a wide variety of mental health presentations with varying complexity.
- Support the team with service delivery initiatives, supervision and projects where appropriate.
- Deliver training.
- Supervision of trainee and assistant psychologists.

Qualifications

- Doctoral level training in clinical / counselling psychology
- Current HCPC registration as a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist
Knowledge

- Knowledge to perform a complex psychological assessment, intervention and management
- A wide range of psychological interventions.
- Good working knowledge of neurodiversity
Experience

- Experience of specialist psychological assessment with young people
- Experience of delivering psychological interventions with a young age group
- Experience of working with complexity
- MDT working
- Managing priorities and caseload
