Job overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the role of Chemotherapy Clinical Co-ordinator at Kings Mill Hospital. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can bring empathy, compassion and a positive attitude to our team.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to solve problems effectively and a strong sense of tact and diplomacy. You will need to prioritise your own workload efficiently to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the department.

As a Chemotherapy Clinical Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative support to our chemotherapy specialist nurses and ensuring that all patients under our care receive the best possible support.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education with GCSE English at grade C or above
  • Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent relevant experience
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ in Administration
  • European Computer Driving Licence

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Quality Customer Service
  • Some experience providing required NHS knowledge and qualification equivalences if necessary.

Contractual

Essential criteria
  • Regular attendance and willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
  • Good team member
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Diplomatic and tactful

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Demonstrate good communication skills and understanding of basic requirements for individualised patient care
  • Computer literate with advanced keyboard skills.
