Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breast Screening team at King’s Mill Hospital. This permanent post is for 22.5 hours per week (9 – 5 Monday, Thursday and Friday)

This is a supporting role to provide a high-quality clerical service to the NHS Breast Screening Programme.

The role involves handling telephone enquiries, changing and cancelling appointments, clinic preparation, typing and sending result letters and general clerical duties.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills; to be able to organise and prioritise their workload; and to use multiple computer systems including CRIS, BS Select, NBSS and PACS.

  • Computer literate with significant experience of using a keyboard

  • Knowledge of NBSS, CRIS, BS Select, Medway PAS, and NHS in general

Qualifications

  • Good general education with GCSE English at Grade C or above
