Are you passionate about healthcare and eager to make a difference? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Band 3 Imaging Assistants at King's Mill Hospital. If you have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute to the well-being of our patients, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
As an Imaging Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our CT and MRI radiographers, including pre-examination cannulation in both CT and MRI services across all our sites. Your primary objective will be to assist our radiographic staff in all non-nursing aspects of patient care in MRI/CT, including specialized procedures such as CT Colons and Cardiacs.
This position includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, offering a dynamic and varied work schedule. If you are ready to make a meaningful impact and thrive in a supportive and collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!

Knowledge Requirements
Essential criteria
- Knowledge required through work experience. Knowledge of work procedures and practices having underpinned knowledge through NVQ 3 training –Health specific
Desirable criteria
- Certificate of competence in IV injecting
Qualifications-Academic/ Craft/ Professional
Essential criteria
- A good standard of education
- NVQ 3 Clinical Support
Desirable criteria
- NVQ II in care
Further Training
Essential criteria
- Phlebotomy and cannulation. ECG recording
- Catheterisation
Desirable criteria
- Any associated training related to healthcare
Experience
Essential criteria
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
Desirable criteria
- Previous experience in radiology setting
Contractual Requirements
Essential criteria
- May be required to work evenings/weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota
