Further Training

Desirable criteria
  • Mammography

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Underpinning theory and professional knowledge acquired through diploma/degree

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • DCR(R) or BSc (Hons) Radiography
  • HCPC registration
  • Post graduate qualification at M level
Desirable criteria
  • Evidence of further study

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant NHS experience at band 5, including evidence of competencies
  • Broad experience in general radiography as a radiographer to include A&E, orthopaedic and theatre work.
  • This may be supplemented by short courses + CPD.

Contractual requirements

Essential criteria
  • To work at Newark or any SFH site when required to support the one-stop service
