To be responsible for the Supervision of Facilities Services staff ensuring that scheduled staffing levels are maintained to meet the needs of the service including cover arrangements for sickness and annual leave allocating leave requests etc. covering Domestic, Catering and Portering.
Main duties of the job
You will be under the ROE agreement, and NHS member of staff managed by Aramark. Working on a five over seven rota between the hours of 07:30am and 19.00pm, 365 days per year, ensuring support and work allocation for Facilities Staff. The leadership of hotel service domestic staff across a whole range of domestic cleaning activities, portering , laundry and security throughout the building. Prioritising and allocating day to day tasks. Scheduling ad hoc requests. Ensuring the standards of work provided meet the needs of the service, customer and Trust. Working within all appropriate legislative regulations for example, Health and safety at work.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Responsibility for ensuring that accurate work is completed within time limits, framework and quality standards set scheduling ad-hoc requests as required.
To work closely with other staff to ensure a safe and pleasant environment is provided for patients, staff and visitors.
To offer leadership, training and supervision and support to staff.

Essential criteria
- Ability to undertake all mandatory training as required by the individual site.
- Ability to undertake any necessary skills and competency training required by the post
Desirable criteria
- NVQ/Apprenticeship Level 2 Cleaning and Support Service
- NVQ Level 3 Customer Service
- I.L.M level 3 or N.E.B.S.S Certificate or equivalent supervisor qualification
Experience

- Experience in staff supervision of Facilities Services

- Skilled in recruitment and selection of staff
- Experience in ordering supplies
- Experience using Microsoft packages
