Main duties of the job

Facilities Services is part of the Estates and Facilities Directorate, delivering in-house soft FM services within Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, across Nottinghamshire. Under the ROE agreement

We are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant who will provide a clean, safe environment at Highbury Hospital and Highbury Community.  The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high quality service.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The hours will be 25 hours per week between 6.00am to 6.30pm working various shifts including weekends and bank holidays.  The successful applicant will be required to cover other areas when needed. The ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team, maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

Training

  • Ability to undertake all mandatory training as required by the individual site
  • Ability to undertake any necessary skills and competency training required by the post

  • Experience or working within a catering, cleaning or portering environment Experience of working within healthcare environment which may include: a catering, cleaning or portering function. Experience of working within a food safety management system (HACCP)
