Would you like to start an exciting career in the NHS, learning new skills and knowledge of Customer Service and Business Administration, whilst achieving a nationally recognised Apprenticeship qualification?

We are seeking to recruit apprentices in customer administration roles to develop within our organisation

You will provide excellent customer services and the role will involve a range of office duties to ensure the smooth running of the organisation. Your role will maintain a high standard of professionalism and provide services in line with our values and behaviours. We are looking for people who are punctual, reliable, and smart in appearance and will work in a professional manner.

You will be employed on a 15-month fixed term training contract and work 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday. In return you will receive 27 days leave, plus bank holidays and an annual salary of £12,480. You will have access to the NHS pension scheme and will be supported to achieve your Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship which includes a qualification in Business Administration at Level 2

The role involves working within Reception supporting with room bookings, answering the phones, sorting mail, booking patients in for appointments and dealing with enquiries. 

Working with the admin team, formatting,/typing letters, diary management.

The role has high volume telephone work and every day is different so you will have lots of opportunity to learn.

The post-holder will be supported in developing their customer service and administrative skills within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. 

Training will involve working alongside the staff within the different areas of the department, working under supervision. You will also be supported by a mentor within the team.

You will also have the opportunity to support in different departments to broaden your knowledge and skills.
