Job overview

The Elective Admissions Lounge admits patients on the day of surgery for General Surgery, Thoracic and Breast and Plastics patients. The Theatre Admissions lounge admits elective orthopaedic patients and also has the added service of admitting the day case patients back to the unit prior to discharge which facilitates a fantastic patient experience.

We are looking for friendly and proactive team member that has surgical experience and can provide a calm, stress free experience for patients. We pride ourselves on supportive team work. We are forward thinking and constantly strive to deliver highest standards of patient care.

Hours of work, Monday - Friday 07:00 - 18:00 excluding Bank Holidays and weekends.

Main duties of the job

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position. We deliver high quality service , providing a safe, efficient and compassionate admission process on the day of elective surgery.

If you are an enthusiastic and positive team player with excellent time management skills we would like to hear from you. You must be able to  prioritise your own workload and work to tight deadlines.
