Job overview
The post holder will be required to provide a professional, efficient and comprehensive administrative service within Ward E37 and the Children's Assessment Unit at QMC. They will provide personal assistant support for senior members of the team and ward managers to the highest level. In addition, they will require a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the nursing staff within the ward area. This includes monitoring quality and audit activity, data entry and the production of charts and graphs as required.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and administrative service to senior members of the directorate team, to assist the smooth and effective performance of their duties and make a direct and positive contribution to the work of the team. The post holder must exercise initiative to organise their own workload within the constraints of defined deadlines.
The role requires high standard administrative support and timely workforce & education information related to the nursing service as required by the ward managers.

- NVQ level 3 in administration or equivalent
Expereince

- Experience in using Microsoft word ,outlook ,excel and PowerPoint

- Previous experience of working in NUH/NHS or Similar areas
Communication and Relationship

- Must be able to clearly and accurately relay information
- Uses correct grammar and spelling
- Maintain sensitivity and empathy in communication with patients and staff
