Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our team . On average we see 300 patients per day.  We are currently developing and expanding our services.

You must be able to work flexibly between the hours of 8.30am - 7.30pm.

As part of the interview process, if you are successful at shortlisting, you will be expected to complete the Numeracy and Literacy Assessment prior to your interview. Results of this will be issued on the day.

Main duties of the job

Oncology patients attend the department for consultations with the doctors. They also receive supportive therapies, sub-cut/im injections. We help patients organise their appointments and their journey through oncology. We also manage the running of the clinics and clinic prep.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and committed Healthcare Assistant and will welcome any forward thinking, caring individual who is committed to providing a high standard of safe quality patient care.

You must display excellent communication skills and be confident to deal with members of the public and the hospital multidisciplinary team.
