Occupational Health Nurse

Band 6

Job overview

We are seeking to recruit an Occupational Health Nurse to work in our team to support pre-employment, health surveillance including audiometry and spirometry, skin assessments, hand arm vibration, venepuncture, health screening. Previous experience of Occupational Health in a hospital setting would be a distinct advantage, otherwise experience in health surveillance and/ or fitness for work medicals across any sector would be considered. Competent IT user and an ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

We offer a range of high-quality services including infection screening and immunisation, infectious outbreak contact tracing, fitness for work assessments, advice on sickness absence management, advice on stress management, assessment for long-term disability benefits or ill-health retirement, health surveillance, health promotion, training, and education
